Odaily Planet Daily News On Wednesday's CPI data relieved investors, with the core CPI in February only pumping 0.2% month-on-month, lower than the expected 0.3%. Bitwise's European research director, André Dragosch, said that the latest cooling inflation data may bring favorable sentiment changes to risk assets. The slowing inflation of the US CPI provides more room for the Fed to cut interest rates, which may be the reason for BTC's pump after the data release. BRN analyst Valentin Fournier also expressed a similar view: "Lower-than-expected inflation data strengthens the case for multiple rate cuts, as investors now anticipate an 82% probability of three rate cuts before December - a potential significant liquidity boost for risk assets including cryptocurrencies."
