The New York Times: Sam Altman seeks investors for Rain AI to challenge NVIDIA
On November 20th, Jinshi Data reported that according to the New York Times, sources said that Sam Altman is personally promoting Rain AI to OpenAI investors, hoping that they will provide funding support. Altman is pushing for Rain AI's upcoming $150 million second round of financing, which will bring Rain AI's valuation to about $600 million. According to reports, Altman is one of the main investors in Rain AI's $25 million seed round of financing in 2022. The latest round of financing is expected to begin next month.
