Odaily News Despite Russia's firm continuation of its military operations, the Kremlin is weighing concessions to U.S. President Trump, which may include reaching an aerial ceasefire protocol with Ukraine, in an attempt to avoid secondary sanctions. According to informed sources, although expectations for a successful agreement are low, U.S. Middle East envoy Wittekov's visit to Russia this week is seen by the Russian side as one of the last opportunities to reach an agreement with Trump. One of the informed sources indicated that a pause in air strikes, including drones and missiles, could be a potential de-escalation proposal, provided that Ukraine also participates in the signing.
