The platform's USDC payment feature is enabled by default, and merchants can manually choose to disable it. Shopify and Coinbase have jointly developed a payment protocol based on the Base blockchain, which supports refunds and chargeback processing, and has been integrated into the existing system through the payment service provider Stripe.
