Interpol, in collaboration with 26 countries, launched an operation against data theft of encryption wallets, resulting in the arrest of 32 individuals.

Gate News bot message, recently, in the "Operation Secure" led by Interpol, law enforcement agencies from 26 countries worldwide collaborated to successfully dismantle a large-scale infostealer malware network.

During the operation, law enforcement agencies arrested a total of 32 criminal suspects, including 18 from Vietnam, 12 from Sri Lanka, and 2 from Nauru. The task force shut down over 20,000 malicious IPs and domains, seized 41 servers, and confiscated over 100GB of data, covering 79% of the suspicious addresses.

The action has notified 216,000 victims, reminding them to take appropriate measures. These malware primarily target users' browser credentials, passwords, and encrypted wallet data for theft.
