The case was filed earlier this year by 12 victims, accusing Shirtum Europa SLU and its promoters of defrauding investors of at least $3.4 million (€3 million) by selling non-functional NFTs related to footballers' portrait rights, which were purchased with the company's in-house token, SHI.
