On June 7th, at the "2025 Web3 x AI Innovation Forum" co-hosted by the Tsinghua University Student Blockchain Association and Polyhedra, Assistant Professor Hu Yuncong from Shanghai Jiao Tong University delivered a keynote speech titled "Redefining Trust Boundaries: A New Paradigm of Trusted Outsourcing Computation Based on ZK"; Dr. Xie Tiancheng, a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, and co-founder & CTO of Polyhedra, gave a keynote speech on "AI+Web3: The Prospects and Future of ZKML."
Among them, Xie Tiancheng mentioned: "The comparison between the complexity of validating liquidity and computation is not on the same day. Specifically in the application of AI models, the primary value of ZKML (Zero-Knowledge Machine Learning) lies in verifying service quality. For example, in trading bots, users can verify the operational quality of the bots through ZKML.
Secondly, with the growth of AI Agents and their sensitive permissions being authorizable, ZKML can effectively ensure the security of AI agents, allowing users to play the role of validators and build a trust system between humans and AI agents. In addition, ZKML can also provide data market functionality, audit training data functionality, etc., which will play an important role in subsequent on-chain AI construction.
