Jin10 Data, April 11 - Ganfeng Lithium announced that the company has signed a cooperation development letter of intent with Lithium Argentina AG to jointly develop the Pozuelos-Pastos Grandes salt lake basin located in Argentina. This salt lake basin consists of three lithium salt lake projects: the PPG lithium salt lake project, which is wholly owned by Ganfeng Lithium; the PG lithium salt lake project, which is jointly owned by both parties (Ganfeng Lithium holds a 14.89% equity stake, while LAR holds 85.11%); and the SDLP lithium salt lake project (Ganfeng Lithium holds a 35% equity stake, while LAR holds 65%). The two parties intend to integrate the three projects into a new project called "PPGS lithium salt lake project" and develop a phased development plan. The production process of the PPGS lithium salt lake project is planned to partially adopt direct lithium extraction technology, with a long-term production capacity expected to reach 150,000 tons of LCE per year. The products will include lithium chloride or lithium carbonate.
