Wilder World has announced the Super Early Access launch of its first-person shooter (FPS) mode, marking a significant milestone in the project’s evolution. The launch, developed in partnership with Samsung, will be unveiled at Gamescom 2025, the world’s largest gaming convention, and will feature a global tournament with a $100,000 prize pool.

This new FPS mode is the second playable experience within Wilder World, following the success of Wilder Wheels, the racing game released in 2024. It marks a further expansion of Wiami, the expansive open-world metaverse at the heart of the Wilder ecosystem.

The FPS gameplay will first be showcased to the public on August 20 at Gamescom. An open competitive circuit will follow, with qualifiers scheduled from August 25 to September 9, playoffs taking place from September 10 to 15, and a live final event set for September 24. The five top-ranking players will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the final, held at a location yet to be disclosed.

In addition to gameplay access, Gamescom attendees can collect a Samsung-branded playable POAP NFT by interacting with on-site NFC towers. This NFT can be used within Wilder World’s metaverse environment.

The announcement arrives at a time of growing momentum for Wilder World and its native token, WILD. Recent developments include:

A successful collaboration with Lamborghini, with the Temerario NFT collection selling out in four minutes.

The rollout of Wiami.fun, a user-generated content platform allowing players to create and tokenize in-game assets and skins.

The launch of Operation Titan, a multi-million-dollar buyback program for the WILD token.

The release of Metropolis, an in-depth narrative explaining the Wilder World economy.

The introduction of CYPHER, a U.S.-based treasury vehicle designed to access traditional finance channels and support ecosystem funding.

These milestones have contributed to Wilder World’s rising profile, including a consistent presence among the Top 10 Most Anticipated Games on the Epic Games Store. The addition of an FPS mode, one of the most widely played and streamed gaming genres, is intended to position Wilder World as a bridge between mainstream gaming and blockchain-powered virtual worlds.

“The $100K tournament isn’t just about esports, it’s a global stage to show the world that Wilder World is building at the frontier of gaming and the metaverse,” said n3o, Co-Founder and Executive Producer of Wilder World. “Partnering with Samsung at Gamescom solidifies our belief that Web3 gaming will be a mainstream force in the next wave of entertainment.”
