Nasdaq Listed Fitness Firm Makes Power Play With FET as Altcoins Storm Corporate Treasuries
Publicly traded firm Interactive Strength Inc., the parent company of fitness brands CLMBR and FORME, announced plans to add FET tokens to its corporate reserves.
Altcoin Fever: TRNR Buys Into Fetch.ai to Build World’s First AI Token Treasury
The trend of businesses holding altcoins in their treasuries continues to gain traction. On Wednesday, Interactive Strength Inc. (Nasdaq: TRNR) said it secured a $55 million capital injection from ATW Partners and DWF Labs, part of a broader goal to raise $500 million. According to a statement shared with Bitcoin.com News, the funds are earmarked to purchase FET tokens, the AI-centric digital asset created by Fetch.ai.
TRNR’s move aims to establish the firm as the top publicly traded crypto treasury focused on an AI token, according to its press release. Alongside the investment news, TRNR unveiled a tech collaboration with Fetch.ai, meant to enhance its fitness technology through artificial intelligence. Fetch.ai’s decentralized framework, built around autonomous AI agents, will power personalized wellness tools and intelligent training services for the company.
Interactive Strength is echoing the strategy made famous by Strategy (formerly Microstrategy), only this time with FET instead of bitcoin (BTC). A growing number of firms are following suit—some gravitating toward BTC, while others opt for ETH, DOGE, SOL, or even TRUMP. For example, micro-cap logistics company Freight Technologies, Inc. announced in early May that it’s acquiring the official TRUMP meme coin for its treasury.
Nasdaq-listed Sharplink Gaming is accumulating ethereum. Heritage Distilling is stocking up on both dogecoin and bitcoin. DeFi Development Corp. (Nasdaq: DFDV) has long been adding solana to its holdings, with staking as part of the strategy. The growing presence of altcoins on corporate balance sheets suggests companies are beginning to view these assets not just as bets—but as levers for branding, tech evolution, and a slight change in narrative.
