A World Gold Council report on January 8th stated that global gold ETFs recorded annual capital inflows for the first time in four years (3.4 billion USD), with 778 million USD of inflows in December, the first inflow in December since 2019, leading in Asia and Europe. The inflow of global gold ETF funds has brought the total assets under management to a record 271 billion USD. The holdings remained relatively unchanged (3,219 tons). Global gold volume decreased in December, but daily volume in 2024 increased by 39% compared to subir.
