Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse predicts that XRP will be part of the digital asset stock planned by the U.S. government and that a series of XRP ETF launches will take place in the second half of 2025 in the U.S.

This statement made to Bloomberg came after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's withdrawal of the lawsuit against Ripple. Garlinghouse pointed to President Donald Trump's decree released at the beginning of March, stating, "The President directly mentioned XRP by name. He said a stock would be created that would include Bitcoin as a strategic reserve and digital assets like XRP." He emphasized that this initiative indicates that the U.S. government will pursue a broader strategy towards digital assets.

The CEO of Ripple predicts that a series of XRP spot ETFs will be launched in the US in the second half of 2025. The executive stated that many companies, including Bitwise and Franklin Templeton, have submitted more than ten applications to the SEC. "I have great confidence in ETFs," said Garlinghouse, who also mentioned the possibility of Ripple Labs going public.

Following the latest developments, XRP has risen by 15%, reaching $2.60 and surpassing Tether in market capitalization to become the third largest cryptocurrency after Bitcoin and Ether.

At the time the news was written, XRP is trading at $2.38.
