GM Happy weekend 🙂

A scholar was going to the capital for the exam for the third time and stayed at an inn he often visited. Two days before the exam, he had three dreams. The first dream was about planting cabbage on a wall, the second dream was on a rainy day where he wore a bamboo hat and held an umbrella, and the third dream was about lying naked with his beloved cousin, but they were back to back.

These three dreams seem to have some deep meaning. The scholar hurried to find a fortune teller the next day to interpret the dreams. As soon as the fortune teller heard this, he slapped his thigh and said, "You should just go home. Think about it, isn't it futile to plant vegetables on a high wall? Isn't it redundant to wear a bamboo hat and hold an umbrella? You've already stripped down and lay on the same bed with your cousin, yet you're back to back. Isn't that a dead end?"

Upon hearing this, the scholar felt disheartened and returned to the inn to pack his belongings in preparation to go home. The innkeeper was very curious and asked, "Isn't the exam tomorrow? Why are you going home today?"

The scholar said this and that, and the shopkeeper laughed: "Oh, I can interpret dreams too. I think you must stay this time. Just think about it, isn't growing vegetables on the wall a high planting? Wearing a hat and holding an umbrella doesn't mean you're well-prepared this time? Lying on the bed with your cousin, back to back, doesn't that mean your turn is about to come?"

Upon hearing this, the scholar felt it made more sense, so he enthusiastically participated in the examination and surprisingly achieved the rank of a top scorer.
