Norwegian digital asset company K33 announced that it has launched a new directed stock issuance round as part of a strategic move to significantly increase its Bitcoin holdings.

Norwegian K33 Initiates Stock Issuance Worth 85 Million Swedish Krona to Purchase 1,000 Bitcoin for the Treasury

The company aims to raise at least 85 million SEK (, approximately 8 million dollars ), with this issuance and to purchase up to 1,000 BTC to hold on its balance sheet.

According to K33, the stock issuance has already received full subscription commitments, highlighting investors' strong confidence in the company's Bitcoin-focused strategy.

In particular, the CEO of K33 signaled internal support for the plan by committing 100,000 euros through his personal investment firm.

This move places K33 among the growing list of public companies looking to strengthen their reserves with Bitcoin, following the similar trend of companies like MicroStrategy, Metaplanet, and The Blockchain Group.

Although there is no publicly disclosed timeline for the completion of BTC purchases, K33 emphasized that the funds will be used to strengthen the long-term digital asset treasury strategy.

The latest capital increase occurred with the resurgence of institutional interest in Bitcoin, which continues to be seen by many as a strategic inflation hedge and a store of value.
