Previously, he served as Managing Director and Head of Electronic Brokerage at global institutional broker Investment Technology Group. He co-founded the institutional brokerage firm White Cap Trading and served as its Managing Director and Chairman. In the early stages of his career, he was the Chief Economist at Archipelago, conducted equity derivation research at Goldman Sachs, and served as Deputy Director of Research at the National Association of Securities Dealers (which later became the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
