Elon Musk's Starlink obtains telecom license in India, making a key step towards commercial operations.

According to sources, Elon Musk's Starlink has obtained a key license from the Indian Ministry of Telecommunications, clearing a major hurdle and bringing the company closer to launching commercial operations in India. Starlink is the third company to receive approval from the Indian telecommunications department, which has previously approved similar applications from the European satellite communication company Eutelsat's OneWeb and Indian telecom company Reliance Jio.
