DCG Survey: 77% of Americans believe that decentralized AI is more beneficial to society.

On May 30, according to the latest poll conducted by Harris Poll commissioned by the Digital Currency Group(DCG), as many as 77% of American respondents believe that decentralized artificial intelligence is more beneficial to society as a whole. The survey was conducted April 21-25, 2025, and a total of 2,036 Americans participated.

The survey results show that 75% of respondents believe that decentralized AI is more trustworthy, and 75% think it better supports innovation and progress. In contrast, 67% believe that centralized AI is more likely to have biases, 63% think that centralized AI benefits tech giants rather than ordinary users, and it is more likely to irresponsibly use consumer data.

Julie Stitzel, Senior Vice President of Policy at DCG, stated: "Three-quarters of Americans believe that if the transformative power of artificial intelligence is not monopolized by a few giants, it will benefit more people."
