PANews, April 25 - According to the New York Times, U.S. Congressional documents show that Trump's long-time ally Roger J. Stone Jr. has been lobbying for "Bitcoin Jesus" Roger Ver, who is currently facing federal fraud and criminal tax charges. Since February of this year, Roger Ver has paid Roger J. Stone Jr. $600,000, seeking his help to try to abolish the core tax provisions that constitute the related charges. As previously disclosed by the U.S. Department of Justice, Roger Ver resided in California and renounced his U.S. citizenship in 2014, and was arrested in Spain last year when the Justice Department announced plans to extradite him.
