This Crisis of Confidence stems from the Libra meme coin incident in February, where the Token's market capitalization soared to 4.6 billion dollars after Milei's social media post, but fell 94% within hours. Although Milei argues that he was merely spreading information rather than promoting it, the opposition has initiated impeachment proceedings. It is worth noting that there are significant differences in polling results from different institutions: the survey from the University of San Andres shows a support rate dropping to 45%, while the Morning Consult data remains at 62.4%.
