According to CoinDesk on November 21st, Aptos Ecosystem Development Organization revealed that payment company Stripe is expanding its encryption product to Layer1 blockchain Aptos, and stablecoin issuer Circle plans to introduce its flagship stablecoin USDC to the network. So far, USDC has only existed on the network in the form of the bridge version. The stablecoin company will also add Aptos to its Cross-Chain Interaction Transmission Protocol (CCTP), which is a tool to help USDC transfer between different blockchains. This will help Aptos better connect with Decentralized Finance (DeFi) applications. Stripe will provide cryptocurrency access services on Aptos, aimed at helping merchants transfer funds between traditional payment systems and blockchain. Users will be able to convert government issuance currency into USDC directly through the enabled Cryptocurrency Wallet on Aptos.
