The Ukrainian army claimed to have advanced 35 kilometers into Russia's Kursk Oblast and established a military office.

Selsky said that the Ukrainian army has controlled 82 settlements during the Kursk operation, covering an area of 1150 square kilometers. He said that he will appoint Major General Moshkalyov to lead the military command office in the western region of Russia controlled by the Ukrainian army. "We are advancing in the Kursk region. A military command office has been established to ensure order and meet all the needs of the local residents," Selsky said in a written statement on his Telegram channel.
