Jinshi data news on August 6th, according to American media reports, Democratic presidential candidate Harris has chosen Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate, which will help Harris unite the coastal progressives and Midwest moderates to stop Trump. The 60-year-old Walz is a retired veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard and a former teacher, who was elected governor of Minnesota in 2018. Walz has long advocated for women's reproductive rights, but has also shown conservative tendencies, defending agricultural interests and supporting gun rights. His hometown has consistently supported the Democratic Party in presidential elections, but neighboring Wisconsin and Michigan are considered key to deciding this year's election. Walz is widely regarded as being good at connecting with white rural voters, who have generally voted for Trump in recent years. The Harris team hopes that Walz can attract those who are not yet determined to re-elect Trump.
