According to a report by IT House on June 19, Palo Alto Networks, an American network security company, warned that it had discovered a malicious Android application that mimicked ChatGPT. At the same time, the company reminded that as of June 19, ChatGPT's official app is only available for iPhone, and there is no Android client yet. So far, Palo Alto has identified two types of malware. The first is a Trojan masquerading as the "SuperGPT" app, and the second is malware masquerading as the "ChatGPT" app and charging fraudulent fees by sending text messages to Thai phone numbers. The company has reported the malicious apps to Google, and Google Play will soon block them. Additionally, Palo Alto confirmed an increase in fraudulent sites using domains like "ChatGPT" or other deceptively confusing domains. As previously reported, OpenAI launched the iOS version of the ChatGPT app last month, but as of now, the company has not launched an Android version of the app.
