Dragonfly Partners: The U.S. Department of Justice has clarified that it will not file charges against Dragonfly or its employees.
Odaily News Regarding the news that "the U.S. Department of Justice is considering charges against Dragonfly employees in the TornadoCash case," Dragonfly partner Haseeb has once again published a post and shared court records stating: "Monday's court records show that the U.S. Department of Justice has clarified that media reports about their plans to sue Dragonfly are inaccurate, and that neither Dragonfly nor any of its key personnel are targets of their investigation... As an investor, Dragonfly may face prosecution simply for supporting an Open Source privacy technology, which is not only unprecedented but also clearly violates the policies of the Department of Justice." The court record image shared by Haseeb shows: "After the last meeting, there were inaccurate and misleading media reports regarding the government's statements about Dragonfly and its certain executives. The government wishes to clarify for the record that Dragonfly or any of its directors, executives, employees, or holding shareholders are not targets." Previously, there were rumors in the market that "the U.S. Department of Justice is considering charges against Dragonfly employees in the TornadoCash case," to which Haseeb had previously responded, stating he would "do everything possible to defend himself and insist that the investment is legal and reasonable."
