According to ChainCatcher news, reported by The Block, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin warned that the digital identity verification system launched by Sam Altman could undermine online anonymity. Sam Altman recently launched a new platform called World Digital IDs, which aims to provide a digital identity verification service for crypto assets users. Vitalik believes that such services could jeopardize user privacy, as they may be used to track and identify online users, thereby "killing" their anonymity.
