Gate News bot message, according to Jin10 report, The Federal Reserve (FED) Chairman Powell has taken a cautious stance on interest rate cuts, leading to a slight increase in the US dollar.
During his testimony to Congress on Tuesday, Powell seemed to pour cold water on the prospect of a rate cut in July, rejecting President Trump's call for lower interest rates. Pepperstone strategist Michael Brown said in a report that The Federal Reserve (FED) may wait until December to cut rates, and only by 25 basis points this year.
