Institution: The Federal Reserve (FED) is not in a hurry to relax policies, but may still cut interest rates in September.

ChainCatcher news, Allspring analyst Matthias Scheiber stated that due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding tariffs and the still strong U.S. labor market, The Federal Reserve (FED) has adopted a generally expected "wait-and-see" attitude regarding the Intrerest Rate. "From our perspective, the next window in which the Fed could cut rates will be September," the head of multi-asset solutions said. Allspring expects that the Fed could cut rates twice this year if inflation continues to fall towards its 2.0% target.
