Sonic announces the termination of its five-year market-making partnership with Wintermute.
According to the Gate.io News bot, it was reported by Wu that Sonic's Chief Strategy Officer SonicAssistant announced that the company notified Wintermute 24 hours ago that their 5-year market-making (MM) contract would not be renewed.
Sonic has begun discussions with other market makers for collaboration. The new partners will provide MM++ services, including deep involvement in the DeFi ecosystem construction, supporting application growth, participating in global community activities, and maintaining proactive communication.
SonicAssistant emphasizes: "Only supporting CEX can no longer meet ecological needs."
