The U.S. Department of Homeland Security requires the founder of HashFlare to leave the country, which contradicts a court order.
According to a report by Decrypt, Sergei Potapenko and Ivan Turõgin, the Estonian co-founders of HashFlare crypto mining company, received a notification from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), demanding that they "immediately" leave the United States or face enforcement action. This directive directly conflicts with a court order requiring them to remain in King County, Washington. The two pleaded guilty earlier this year in February, admitting to fraud through false crypto mining contracts and agreeing to forfeit approximately $400 million in assets.
