The Trump administration released its detained billions of dollars in education funding.

On July 26, Jin10 reported that a senior U.S. government official stated on Friday that the Trump administration plans to distribute more than $5 billion in funds to public schools, which have been held for nearly a month. This eases the anxiety and uncertainty that school leaders have faced for several weeks, who indicated that the freeze on funds would jeopardize programs and staffing for the upcoming school year. The U.S. government reviewed nearly $7 billion in funds on June 30 and released $1.3 billion of it last week. The official stated that the review of the remaining funds has been completed. Nebraska Republican Congressman Don Bacon celebrated the move on social media, noting that he pushed for the distribution of this money. "Announcing an exciting news! All frozen educational funds have been unfrozen for the upcoming new school year."
