Zhao Changpeng criticized the TON Foundation's marketing approach for the UAE "Golden Visa" program as misleading.
PANews, July 8, reported that regarding the controversy surrounding the UAE "Golden Visa" program, Max Crown, CEO of the TON Foundation, spoke again to clarify, emphasizing that the program was not directly designed by the UAE government, but rather promoted through an authorized partner and has not received official government recognition. Binance founder Zhao Changpeng commented that the marketing approach of the project is misleading, and key details should have been clearly communicated to the public. He pointed out that "$35,000 + $100,000 staking" can obtain a golden visa, which is vastly different from being able to "submit an application" only; there are also malicious price manipulations of related tokens; these actions are harming the entire industry.
