China's Central Bank increased its gold reserves by 1.86 tons in May, marking the seventh consecutive month of gold accumulation.

According to official data from the People's Bank of China, China's gold reserves were reported at 73.83 million ounces (about 2,296.37 tons) at the end of May, an increase of 60,000 ounces (about 1.86 tons) from the previous month, marking the seventh consecutive month of gold holdings.
