Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the U.S. Unite to Sue the Trump Administration's Tariff Policy
Gate news bot message, Reuters reported that five small and medium-sized enterprises in the United States have filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration's "Liberation Day" tariffs and the separate tariff policy on China on April 2 through the nonprofit organization Liberty Justice Center.
The plaintiff pointed out in the lawsuit that these tariff measures violate the Constitution and the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), and requested the court to declare that Trump has no authority to implement the tariff policy.
