Google has launched the AI-driven development platform Firebase Studio, integrating the Gemini series of tools.

According to Gate.io News bot, Google has announced the launch of a new AI cloud platform, Firebase Studio, which is positioned as an "application-centric" development platform that supports developers in efficiently building full-stack AI applications on the same platform, and it is now open for use.

The platform integrates two major AI tools, Gemini Code Assist and Gemini Cloud Assist, covering the entire lifecycle scenarios such as code generation, troubleshooting, and deployment optimization. The main updates include:

• Application Design Center and Cloud Hub enter public preview, simplifying architecture design and management processes;
• Gemini Code Assist supports multiple IDE environments, generating code, tests, and documentation through natural language;
• Gemini Cloud Assist provides AI-driven fault localization and cost optimization, supporting natural language deployment and problem analysis.
