According to ChainCatcher news reported by Cointelegraph, the UK-registered Crypto Assets company BCP Technologies has officially launched a stablecoin backed by the British pound after undergoing a 14-month review in the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulatory sandbox. The company announced the launch of its pound-pegged stablecoin Tokenised GBP (tGBP) on June 3.

Gate News bot news, the cryptocurrency company BCP Technologies registered in the UK announced today the launch of its tokenized British Pound (tGBP) stablecoin after 14 months of review in the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulatory sandbox. tGBP is now live on BCP Technologies' BCP Markets, available for customers who have completed the "KYC" verification. Major exchanges are expected to list tGBP in the coming weeks.
